“A Study in Proxemics: A Brief Study in History and an Effort to Keep Peace”
Slocum River; the Dartmouth Natural Resource Trust, Dartmouth Massachusetts, 2012-2013

In 1621, the Englishman and pilgrim, Edward Winslow, crossed a small stream outside of Plymouth Massachusetts to meet with the “king” of the local native population. This initial introduction grew into the most significant event in New England’s birth. The unusual friendship forged between these two men lasted over 50 years and created the partnership that allowed early colonists to thrive in the new World.
